Step Inside a Working Machine Shop
Discover career paths in manufacturing
Friday, October 9, 2026
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
In celebration of National Manufacturing Day, John R. Bromiley Company is opening its doors to local students, educators and community members for a firsthand look at modern manufacturing.
Tour a working machine shop, see advanced equipment and technology in action and explore the career paths behind the work.
Modern manufacturing brings together advanced technology, skilled craftsmanship, problem-solving and precision tooling.
Our work supports industries ranging from medical and telecommunications to aerospace and more.
Like working with your hands? Interested in machines or technology? Enjoy figuring out how things work or solving problems?
Manufacturing offers many ways to turn those interests into a career. Students can build skills through technical education, internships, apprenticeships, mentoring, on-the-job training and continued education. Manufacturing Day offers a chance to see those possibilities up close and learn more about where they can lead.
You don’t need to know yet what you want your career to be. Come explore the possibilities.
Educators, workforce partners, parents and community members are invited to learn more about today’s manufacturing environment and the opportunities available to the next generation.
Educators interested in bringing a group of students are encouraged to contact us in advance so we can help coordinate the visit.
