General Manager

John R. Bromiley Company Inc, is an AS9100 Certified company searching for an experienced General Manager to play an integral part in our organization. This position reports directly to the owner of the company and heads up the day to day activities and has direct input in the decisions of the company.

Position Description:
Managing and directing all the daily activities of a fast paced manufacturing facility.
P&L responsibility
Quickly responding to customer requests for quotations and production status of machined parts.
Effective leadership and communication skills, and strong sales and relationship building ability.
Develop a team atmosphere including motivating staff to ensure productivity, coordinating purchasing and warehousing activities, as well as training staff on AS9100 procedures.
Estimating and scheduling precision machine parts for aerospace, medical or military manufacturing.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
Confident team leader with a vast knowledge of problem solving techniques.
High level of diplomacy in approach with customers, coworkers and vendors.
Be organized and know how to negotiate/ follow up for the best possible outcome of the RFQ.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S Citizen
Full knowledge of ISO9001:2008 and AS9100B procedures.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations or equivalent Technical background.
Strong business experience in General Management and/or Director of Manufacturing experience in Aerospace/Medical Industry.
Experience estimating precision machine parts in aerospace, medical or military manufacturing.
MRP software and internet experience.
Strong safety and quality focus with track record of dependability.
Strong background in Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Proficient use of computers, including MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of E2 Shoptech Software or Micro Estimating Software a plus.
Full understanding of the contract machining process, from generating sales to final inspection is essential.
